How to make yummy Okra/Bhindi Aloo fry sabzi

 Bhindi aloo fry is a popular Indian dish made with okra and potatoes. Here's a simple recipe to make bhindi aloo fry at home:

Ingredients:

250 grams okra (bhindi), chopped

2 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and diced

I medium-sized tomato is finely chopped.

1 medium-sized onion, chopped

2-3 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

1/2 teaspoon coriander powder

1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

Salt to taste

Oil for frying

Instructions:

Wash the okra and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel. Trim the ends and cut them into small pieces.

Peel the potatoes and dice them into small cubes.

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once the cumin seeds start to sizzle, add chopped onions. Once the onion is cooked properly and turns golden brown, add tomatoes and minced garlic. Saute for 2-3 minutes.

Add diced potatoes and sauté for 4-5 minutes until they turn golden brown.

Add chopped okra or bhindi and mix well. Cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for 3–4 minutes, or until the okra and potatoes are fully cooked.

Your bhindi aloo fry sabzi is ready to serve! It can be enjoyed with roti, paratha, or rice.
