How to make Limbu/nimbu sarbat or shikanji

 

Limbu Sarbat is a refreshing drink made with lemon juice, sugar, and water. Here is a simple recipe to make Limbu Sharbat/Shikanji

Ingredients:

4 medium-sized lemons

1 cup sugar

1 spoon of salt

4 cups water

Ice cubes

Mint leaves (optional)

Instructions:

Wash the lemons thoroughly and cut them into halves.

Squeeze the lemon juice into a bowl, making sure to remove any seeds.

In a separate pot, add sugar, salt and water and stir until the sugar dissolves completely.

Then add the lemon juice to it and mix well.

Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

Once the mixture is chilled, take it out of the refrigerator and stir it well.

Pour the Limbu Sharbat into glasses filled with ice cubes.

Garnish with mint leaves (optional).

Enjoy your refreshing Limbu Sharbat!

Note: You can adjust the amount of sugar according to your taste preference.
